On March 23-24, we hosted the inaugural annual hackathon event on Duke Kunshan University's campus, attended by over 100 participants, including 10 speakers from academia and industry, 8 mentors, and 4 judges. Student participants competed in teams of 2-4 people to build an AI/Web3 project within just 24 hours.
Three teams won the first-place prizes in Finance, Health, and Environment categories with exciting projects. You can view the projects gallery on our DevPost website.

Some companies represented during the hackathon included Conflux Web3, Microsoft, Max Planck Institute, KPMG, L'Oréal, and Unilever. Universities represented included Duke Kunshan University, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, and Tongji University.
